Mrs. Medinat Adunni Lawal-Sani was born on 15th August, 1967. She began her distinguished career in educational administration at the Federal College of Education, Kano, in 1992 as an Administrative Officer II. Through diligence, competence, and unwavering dedication to service, she steadily rose through the ranks and attained the position of Deputy Registrar in 2007.
In 2022, she transferred her services to the Federal College of Education, Iwo, Osun State, where she has continued to demonstrate exemplary professionalism, administrative acumen, and commitment to institutional development.
Mrs. Lawal-Sani’s academic background reflects both depth and versatility. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and later obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the same institution in 1994. Her commitment to the advancement of education led her to obtain a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the Federal College of Education, Kano (2004). In addition, she holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Computing (1999), demonstrating her early recognition of the importance of technological proficiency in modern administration.
Her professional competence has been further enhanced through advanced management and administrative training at the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON) as well as international exposure at the University of Manchester, United Kingdom.

As a pioneer member of Women in Colleges of Education (WICE), Mrs. Lawal-Sani demonstrated remarkable commitment to the growth of the association. During her tenure as Vice-Chairperson of WICE, FCE Kano, she initiated the deduction of membership dues at source for the first time in the College, thereby strengthening the structure and coordination of the association. Under her leadership, WICE became a vibrant platform advocating for the welfare and development of female staff and students, organizing mentoring and interactive sessions aimed at empowering female students and promoting participation at both zonal and national levels.
Her passion for uplifting the vulnerable, empowering the girl child, and promoting community development has also led her to engage actively with Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), and various advocacy networks.

A devoted wife and mother of four, she embodies the virtues of excellence, humility, and commitment required for effective leadership in academic administration.
As she assumes office today as the Registrar of the Federal College of Education, Iwo, the College community looks forward with optimism to a new era of administrative efficiency, institutional growth, and strengthened service delivery under her leadership.
